吴雨青Yuqing Irene Wu
I am a freelance illustrator from Guilin, Guangxi. I studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and later graduated from the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts majored in Graphic Design.
Since my childhood, I always loved drawing and painting. Thus, I started to work as a freelance illustrator from 2019. I mainly illustrates children literatures in collaboration with major publishers and also take on private commissions.
My major source of inspiration comes from the beauty of mundane. I like to use gentle and delicate colors to depict the beautiful things from daily life through combing my observation and imagination. Japanese picture books, Nihonga, Chinese Xieyi (写意) and Gongbi (工笔) painting, as well as printmaking, have greatly influenced my artistic style.
I enjoy creating art in a traditional manner, primarily using watercolors and colored pencils. After scanning, I use tools like Photoshop or Procreate for further adjustments.
冯一耕Yigeng Peter Feng
Born in Beijing, I previously studied photography at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Ontario College of Art and Design University. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in theology and philosophy at Saint Vincent College. In addition to my studies, I am responsible for website design and operations. Moreover, I am involved in the graphic design and reflection writing for our Liturgical Year Project.
